Worth to know
  • The team assignment approach fosters collaboration, enhances problem-solving skills, and prepares learners for the teamwork required in most modern workplaces.
  • The team assignment is a perfect tool for Case Study Analysis, Project-Based Learning, or Collaborative Writing Projects.
  • You can use team assignments as a form of Peer Teaching. Teams are assigned topics, on which they must become experts, then teach their peers.
  • Team assignments can mix the learning process with the implementation phase. Teams can start from easy learning tasks to continue with real implementation tasks in their job environments.
  • One of the risks of this method is the emergence of social loafing. It is worthwhile to design the tasks in such a way that the contribution of individual members is visible.
